DREAM BIG PROJECTOR CAMPAIGN
The Dream Theatre is currently raising funds for the DREAM BIG PROJECTOR CAMPAIGN. All monies raised will go towards purchasing a new digital projector, server, sound system equipment and additional auditorium lighting.
Over 10 years ago the Dream Theatre was one of the first theaters in the area to go digital, but now that state of the art equipment is causing technical difficulties and is impacting theater operations. It is our desire to replace the existing 20+ years sound system and install additional stage lighting to provide better lighting for other events that take place at the theater.
This project is projected to cost over $70,000. The theater has been awarded a Dane G. Hansen grant through the Russell County Area Community Foundation, a Midwest Energy Community Fund grant, corporate donations from Nex-Tech/Nex-Tech Wireless, and individual donations. The Dream Theatre is getting closer to reaching its goal everyday, but still needs the community's help.
The Dream Theatre is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization that oversees the day to day operations of the theater. Donations MAY BE tax deductible, consult with a tax advisor.
